As you can see , these couches are different in style but work well together to create a southwest feel simply through coordinating cushions. You don't have to be matchy-matchy to make things flow in a room. Don't underestimate the power of small changes to a rooms decor--like fresh pillows.

Delivery

Here's a great neutral couch that left the upholstery department recently. We made custom pillows that tie two different style couches together for the client's space. Check back for the next part of this post.

Floral Hooked Pillow

This is a primitive hooked floral pillow by Pam Richardes at Indiana Rug and Textile Fabrication. It's the glimmer of Spring on the horizon for me since the weather is gloomy outside here in Mishawaka, and we are expecting another round of snow. After a thaw and rain storm last night, I'm so happy to see this reminder-- Spring is on the way. Thank you Pam!

Pebble Rug Gem

Today, I had a pleasant surprise come across the work floor in  a piece from Kane Carpet. It is a cut and loop piece with great potential as part of a custom area rug-- offering the pebble texture. It is seen here just as a bound finished piece and is admittedly striking as a stand alone rug should you be looking for a subtle rug with a  natural feel.  Remember simple custom bound rugs can be made to any size or shape.

I was going to make just two, one for my niece and my daughter, but they we're too cute. I ended making one for my whole family.
