FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Indiana Rug Co. Receives 2008 Best of Mishawaka Award
U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., December 21, 2008 -- Indiana Rug Co. has been selected for the 2008 Best of Mishawaka Award in the Carpet & Rug Distributors category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

November News!
Yay! My favorite holiday is quickly coming up. I just love Thanksgiving. Preparing all the delicious food and being around the family. What could be better? This whole month has been crazy! My daughter just had her baby month a week ago, so I'm now a Grandma. It's so exciting. I drove all the way down to North Carolina to visit her, it was quite the long drive.
Well, I'll stop rambling now and give you some info you might be interested in. If you visit indianarugco.com you'll find we have a cute turkey area rug for sale. It's great deal and perfect rug for Thanksgiving decor.

South Bend Museum of Art

Hi there guys, how's it going? Above is the fancy letter I received from the South Bend Museum of Art regarding their benefit auction & dinner on October 2, 2008. We donated one of our rugs to them for their Off The Wall gala fundraiser. The goal of this event was to promote regional artists and to honor artist "Maria Tomasula."
I would like to thank the South Bend Museum of Art for allowing me to join them in their fundraiser and for all they do for local artists like myself. It was a great event to be apart of.

Fernwood's Mission Statement: "To enrich the lives of all people by stimulating appreciation of nature, by exemplifying harmony between people, plants, gardens and wildlife, and by using the natural and cultivated habitats known as Fernwood."
Pam, President of Indiana Rug Company says, " It's a wonderful place to appreciate nature and hike through their many trails, and take in the lush botanical specimens."
The Gallery offers a chance for artists to showcase their work. Jan Frieden will have her art work on display. At the entrance to the gallery, vistors can see our Koi Fish rug. Pam describes the rug for us, "the rug was designed to compliment the natural surroundings as well as the lush koi pond."

If you are looking for something to do in the Michiana area on October 18, come check out Jan Frieden's gallery, and Indiana Rug Company's nature inspired rug! It's fall, get out and enjoy nature. There is no better place than Fernwood in Michigan to do that!
